This high school season, we will be bringing you a feature each Tuesday where we provide some notable news and notes for the week ahead. Here is the feature for March 26. Last week, the boy’s high school season got into full swing. There were some great interstate games, highlighted by Garden City (NY) taking down Loyola-Blakefield (MD) at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland (right; photo courtesy of Craig Chase; see full gallery here) and Avon Old Farms (CT) defeating Kent Denver (CO) in Tampa, Florida. Boy’s High School Weekend Recap: March 25

Each Monday this spring, we will be discussing some news and notes from the weekend in high school action. Last week saw many top Long Island teams opening their schedules.
