What are you most excited about with regards to your program?
New head coach with a young team!
What jumps out at you when recruiting? What do you look for in a player?
Hard work and athleticism.
What are your “pet peeves” when recruiting?
Parents recruiting for the kid.
What is the best way interested student-athletes should get in touch with you?
Cell Phone Text/Call
What should student-athletes avoid in their messaging to college coaches?
Grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Lack of professionalism
How would you describe your coaching style?
Enthusiastic, and Energetic. I understand the young game, and take all opinions into consideration.
Walk us through your timeline when recruiting a student-athlete?
D3 has no timeline, but we want applications in before March. We offer scholarships for Visits and Out of State students prior to March 1st.
What kind of players succeed at your program?
Hardworking, Coachable athletes
Tell us about your transition from player to coach?
I graduated in 2014, and in 2 short years I had 2 Conference Championship appearances, and am now the Head Coach at WC. I’ve learned from the best, multiple National Championships and a Division 1 All-Star.
