Member Commitment: Riley Clark, Class of 2014, University of Tampa

Riley Clark (Wayne, New Jersey/DePaul Catholic) has committed to play lacrosse at the University of Tampa. Tampa competes at the DII level in the Deep South Conference. The Spartans finished the 2013 season with an 11-6 record. A midfielder, Clark will bring an excellent scoring touch to Tampa. Offensively, he frees his hands very well and has a powerful outside shot. He can score in tight as well, showing good awareness and skill near the crease. Member Commitment: Jack McKenna, Class of 2015, Holy Cross

Jack McKenna (Essex Falls, New Jersey/Oratory Prep) has committed to play lacrosse at the College of the Holy Cross. Holy Cross finished the 2013 season with a 7-8 record in the competitive Patriot League. The Crusaders triumphs included wins over Dartmouth, Lafayette and Navy. McKenna is a big midfielder that will bring a two-way skillset to Worcester. Offensively, he displays a great lacrosse IQ to go with a powerful left-handed shot. Defensively, he uses his size well to drive dodgers down the wings. He engages very well at the point of attack, and uses his physicality to dictate the pace to the offensive player. Member Commitment: Michael Karpel, Class of 2013, Roanoke

Michael Karpel (Hampton, New Hampshire/Winnacunnet High School) has committed to play lacrosse at Roanoke College. Roanoke, ranked 7th nationally in the most recent USILA Division III Coaches' Poll, is 13-3 thus far this season and is riding a 10-game winning streak. The team, coached by Bill Pilat, competes in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. The Maroons are hosting the ODAC Championship this weekend, having earned the No. 1 seed in the conference. They will take on No. 5 Randolph-Macon on Saturday in the semi-finals. The winner of that contest will play the winner of the No. 2 Lynchberg vs. No. 3 Washington & Lee on Sunday. ...

Member Commitment: Justin Russo, Class of 2013, Montclair State University

Justin Russo (Holmdel, New Jersey/Holmdel High School) has committed to play lacrosse at the Montclair State University. Montclair State is currently in first place in the Skyline Conference with a record of 11-4. The team’s most recent victory – a 16-10 triumph over Kean – put them in sole possession of the top spot with one regular season game remaining. The Red Hawks are the four-time defending Skyline Champions, winning the conference tournament in each year since 2009. The wins qualified them for the NCAA tournament. ...

Member Commitment: Jake Sawyer, Class of 2014, Hobart College

Defenseman Jake Sawyer (Denver, Colorado/Denver East High School) has committed to play lacrosse at the Hobart College. The Statesman, coached by T.W. Johnson, compete in the ECAC. Sawyer, a team captain at Denver East, brings size and skill to the Geneva, New York campus. A tall and athletic defender, Sawyer has good speed, utilizing a long stride to beat riding players when clearing. He plays very solid positional defense and uses his stick very well to lengthen his reach and keep attackers at bay. ...

Member Commitment: Brianna Sacks, Class of 2015, Massachusetts

Brianna Sacks (Niskayuna, New York/Niskayuna High School) has committed to play lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts. UMass, ranked 17th nationally in the most recent IWLCA Division I Coaches' Poll, is 7-2 thus far this season, including a 4-0 mark at home. The team, coached by Angela McMahon, competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Last season, UMass finished 19-2, reaching the first round of the NCAA tournament. They went undefeated in conference play at 7-0, and beat George Washington (semi-finals) and Richmond (finals) to win the A-10 Championship for the fourth consecutive season. The streak dates back to 2009. ...
