Girls High School Weekend Recap: April 29
Last week in girls high school lacrosse was highlighted by a Virginia power making a trip to Long Island for two huge interstate matchups. St. Stephens/St. Agnes (VA) headed North for two big games against traditional Long Island powers. First on Friday, the Saints took down Manhasset (NY) by a 16-14 score. Then on Saturday, they traveled to South Huntington to face St. Anthonys (NY). The game was a close one, won by the Friars 9-8. The win moved St. Anthonys to 9-1, who after an early-season loss to Vero Beach (FL) have won seven consecutive games.
