March 14, 2019 – Next Level Soccer Academy (NLSA) and SportsRecruits are excited to announce their agreement on a club integration for the 2019-2020 season. As part of the agreement, NLSA student-athletes will receive access to the best-in-class sports recruiting technology. The SportsRecruits platform provides NLSA the ability to stay informed with each of their student-athlete’s college recruiting process, from start to finish. We caught up with Brian Thomsen, NLSA’s Director of Coaching, about the value they saw in SportsRecruits to help their student-athletes compete at the next level.

How will you utilize SportsRecruits as a Coach/Director?

“SportsRecruits will help me empower NLSA’s prospective student-athletes to achieve their dreams of playing college soccer more than the current system we have in place. We truly needed something as a club and as a Director of Coaching, that enabled us to feel more connected with our current players and their college recruiting process. This platform opens up a whole new WORLD to our players and helps our club help in ways we couldn’t before.”

Why would you recommend this to someone who might be on the fence?

“The biggest advantage for our players is the ability to search for schools/programs that they otherwise would not find by organically. Having a platform like SportsRecruits will allow our players to customize their recruiting process even further than before and that’s a huge advantage for any teenager that is anxious about the current process. If a platform can help with information, potential options, and programs they might have otherwise not heard of, it opens up a whole new world of opportunity to those potential student-athletes.”

What was one of the biggest issues with recruiting before SportsRecruits? How do you envision SportsRecruits impacting those issues?

“I think that the biggest issue is a lot of players today that live in the “social media” world have a hard time getting the process started because of how overwhelming it all seems. I honestly believe that SportsRecruits answers a lot of those questions and issues that players have when starting out. They basically figured out a way to become the “LinkedIn” of the college recruiting world and again, I truly feel this is a game changer because it checks so many boxes for future college soccer athletes.”

Next Level Soccer Academy is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that is dedicated to fostering a love of the beautiful game and helping our players develop to the fullest of their potential. We were formed in 2007 and, since that time, have continuously been led by our volunteer founders and directors, Chad Bridges and Rob Marino. Next Level Soccer Academy is designed for players to succeed through practice and hard work at each level of their playing career with an emphasis on conditioning, techniques, and tactics of the game.
