November 1, 2018 – Pitbulls Fastpitch and SportsRecruits have reached an agreement on a club integration for 3 more years. As part of the agreement, Pitbulls Fastpitch student-athletes and staff will continue receive access to the innovative suite of tools provided by the recruiting platform. We caught up with Jillian Mulderig, the President of Pitbulls Fastpitch, about why they chose to use SportsRecruits to give their student-athletes a competitive advantage.
How do you utilize SportsRecruits as a Coach/Director?
“SR allows us, as coaches, the freedom to focus on what’s going on between the chalk, while still empowering our athletes to commit to their recruiting process. SR makes the recruiting process less overwhelming and more navigable, and allows us to be involved in all 52 of our athlete’s recruiting journeys, instead of being bogged down by the intricacies of one.”
Why would you recommend this to someone who might be on the fence?
“SR gives athletes, coaches, and parents instantaneous access to the contact information of every college softball program in the country. The college search feature allows athletes to explore opportunities they may have never known existed, and gives a club or highschool coach the ability to oversee and aid in the process, by sending timely follow up letters of rec or tagging schools for an athlete that may be a good fit.”
What was one of the biggest issues with recruiting before SportsRecruits? How do you envision SportsRecruits impacting those issues?
“The biggest issue for us is that we are devoted to each and every individual’s recruiting process in our program and we came to a point where the countless spreadsheets we used and tracking to help inspire our athlete’s to commit to their recruiting process in fact grew too overwhelming and tedious. SR made the recruiting process a seamless, easy to navigate, all in one place process and we couldn’t be happier than to have made the switch.
