SportsRecruits, which operates SportsRecruits.com and VolleyballRecruits.net, announced today the launch of FieldHockeyRecruits.com.
“We are very excited about the launch of our new field hockey platform,” said SportsRecruits Co-Founder MATT WHEELER. “Our mission is to empower student-athletes to pursue their dreams, and we are thrilled to provide field hockey players the tools they need to streamline their recruiting efforts.”
Following the lead of the successful lacrosse and volleyball operations, FieldHockeyRecruits.com is a sport-specific platform staffed by former collegiate field hockey players. The site was built in consultation with college field hockey coaches across all three divisions to ensure a sport-specific platform, and was built solely for use by field hockey players with only their process in mind. Every college coach in the country is a registered user.
FieldHockeyRecruits.com offers an innovative suit of tools that have proven to successfully assist student-athletes in navigating their recruiting process. Members upload their academic and athletic information, highlight reels and schedules onto their profile, and can use the Built-In messaging system to directly contact college coaches from the site. Users can also track which schools are viewing their information and are offered sport-specific guidance from former field hockey players who have been through the process.
To run the website, SportsRecruits has hired ALI CAVIN. A 2008 graduate of Penn State University, Cavin was a member of the 2005 Big Ten Championship team and brings extensive field hockey experience from the top level of the collegiate game. In addition to her playing career, Cavin has coached at Beyond Sticks Field Hockey Club since 2011, where she has served as Technical Director and coach of the U16/U19 Elite teams.
“I am beyond excited for the opportunity to guide field hockey players through their recruiting process,” said Cavin. “Field hockey is a sport I have played and coached my entire life, and I am so excited to assist student-athletes in pursing opportunities at the collegiate level.”
