Scheon-StillDillon Schoen (Darien, Connecticut/Darien High School) has committed to play lacrosse at the Stanford University.

Stanford is coming off a historic season, where the team finished with a 14-6 record and won the first NCAA tournament game in program history, taking down Notre Dame, 8-7, in the opening round.

The team fell in the second round last weekend to Northwestern to end their season. Other program highlights from this season include the Cardinal winning its eighth Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament championship in nine years.

A midfielder, Schoen brings an impressive skillset to Darien. She is a force in the middle of the field, and uses her impressive speed and quickness – as well as a deft stick — to corral loose balls. Offensively, she plays fearlessly, taking the ball to the net with determination while showing strong finishing ability inside. An accomplished athlete, Schoen is also a star on the track. In January, she won the 600-meter in Darien High School record time and anchored the winning 4 x 200 relay team for the Blue Wave.

Below is our Q&A with Dillon, who discusses his experience using SportsRecruits.com.
