How was your SportsRecruits.com experience?
Absolutely great, even though we know you were dealing with many players, we always got the sense that Leah was your #1 priority. Phone calls were returned promptly and every deadline we spoke about was met.
Was SportsRecruits.com easy to use?
It couldnt have been easier.
Was the SportsRecruits.com staff helpful to you throughout the process?
The response of the staff was probably the best part of SportsRecruits.com. We were under tremendous pressure to get the site up and running before Champions and Capital Cup, so not much time from the end of season to the first tournament. SportsRecruits not only got the site up and running but actually edited our game tapes and created the highlight video in a very short time frame. The extra added bonus is that Leahs game film was reviewed by a woman who actually played the game and knows what women coaches are looking for. So many other sites have men reviewing the videos, or even worse people who have not played lacrosse.
How did you use SportsRecruits.com to increase your exposure to college coaches?
What was interesting about having Sportsrecruits.com was that while you think you may know where you want to go, coaches who you have not contacted are also viewing your web site and contacting you. This opens up possibilities you may not have thought existed.
How do you think SportsRecruits.com gave you an advantage over your peers who tried to do it on their own?
Having everything in one place. We could continually edit, add video, etc. and simply send the coach an e-mail saying we have updated the information as opposed to sending a new DVD each time you want the coach to see something else.
Would you recommend SportsRecruits.com to a friend that wants to play college lacrosse?
We already have.
Being from a non-traditional area [California], do you think SportsRecruits.com significantly increased the exposure you received?
Being from the west coast we only get to do a couple of tournaments a year; Rivalry Challenge at Navy, Champions Cup and Capital Cup, so the exposure is limited. Having an individual site where all of Leahs information was readily available made it easier for coaches to evaluate her from both athletic and academic criteria. In addition, we added more video as it was available, something coaches could have never seen otherwise.
Sincerely,
Russell Sherman (Father of Leah Sherman)
