Carson MeadOn the SportsRecruits.com experience:

My son, Carson, has just committed to attend and play lacrosse at Franklin and Marshall college in Lancaster, PA. SportsRecruits.com was a vital part of Carson’s recruiting experience. Being from the non-hotbed state of California, we had no familiarity with the recruiting process, and didn’t even know where to begin. Because the lacrosse played in the Bay Area is so varied in ability, it was difficult to tell where we should even have been looking. Matt and Chris were great, and the SportsRecruits.com program led us through all of the right steps to a great academic and athletic match for our son.

We used all of the SportsRecruits materials, from the High School Athlete’s Recruiting Guide, to the video highlight reel editing assistance. The hour-long session with Chris, after he’d reviewed Carson’s transcript, profile, and video was especially useful in helping us focus on good academic schools in strong D3 conferences. It was easy to keep Carson’s profile updated, to add video highlights and game film, and to gather information about schools from the SportsRecruits data base. We could never have done this stuff on our own. The e-mail contact, the link to highlights, and the interviewing suggestions all helped Carson get in front of top coaches at top Eastern programs, working from the West Coast.

There’s nothing like getting an e-mail from a coach back East who’s just seen the highlights on your son’s SportsRecruits personal web page. Chris and Matt are great guys, too, and we’ve enjoyed visiting with them at the Adrenaline Challenge in San Diego. We’ve done a lot of traveling the past several years, and there’s no substitute for getting out in front of the guys you want to see you play, but for everything else, we can’t recommend SportsRecruits.com highly enough.
