Trail Checks: March 19 – Men’s Lacrosse

The Katie Samson Lacrosse Festival was held on Saturday, April 27 at Radnor High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. It was a picturesque Spring afternoon with some great lacrosse action, as 54 boy’s and girl’s teams played regular season contests on seven fields. Check out the video on the right for some great highlights of the festival.

Member Commitment: Brianna Sacks, Class of 2015, Massachusetts

Brianna Sacks (Niskayuna, New York/Niskayuna High School) has committed to play lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts. UMass, ranked 17th nationally in the most recent IWLCA Division I Coaches' Poll, is 7-2 thus far this season, including a 4-0 mark at home. The team, coached by Angela McMahon, competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Last season, UMass finished 19-2, reaching the first round of the NCAA tournament. They went undefeated in conference play at 7-0, and beat George Washington (semi-finals) and Richmond (finals) to win the A-10 Championship for the fourth consecutive season.
