The 2013 Maverik Showtime National Recruiting Showcase was held July 8-11 at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut. The event featured over 300 members of the classes of 2015 and 2016. On Wednesday night, two All-Star games were played: a 2015 and 2016 game. Featured Five: Maverik Showtime National Recruiting Spotlight (2015's)

The fifth-annual Maverik Showtime National Recruiting Spotlight took place from Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 11 at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut. One of the preeminent stops on the summer recruiting circuit, Showtime featured over 300 players representing a diverse geographical area from the 2015 and 2016 classes, breaking down to roughly 160 per grade. Some of the nations top college programs were on hand to take in the action, including defending National Champion Duke, Maryland, Johns Hopkins, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Ohio State and many, many more. The 2013 Lax For the Cure took place Friday, June 28 through Sunday, 30 at New Egypt High School in New Jersey. The tournament, which raised over $205,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness, featured some of the top club teams and players in the country. Check out the video for some great highlights.

Relive the Season: Chapter 15 – Manhasset (NY) vs. Garden City (NY)

This spring, the LR News team traveled to 15 games across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions, making stops from Conestoga (PA) up to Salisbury (CT) and many in between. Chapter 15 took us to Hofstra University for the Nassau County Class B Championship between Manhasset (NY) and Garden City (NY) on Tuesday, May 28. Playing in a torrential downpour from start-to-finish, Garden City came out firing and led the whole way, claiming the 10-4 victory en route the to NY State Class B Championship. The 2013 BLC Crabfeast took place Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, at four locations the Boys Latin School, Gilman, Loyola University (MD) & the Roland Park School near Baltimore. The tournament featured some of the top club teams in the country, comprised mainly of rising sophomore players. Check out the video for some great highlights.

The 2013 BLC Crabfeast was held June 28-30 across four locations in the Baltimore area. The event featured some of the best club teams in the country comprised mainly rising sophomore players. In the Championship Game, Greene Turtle defeated defending champion Dukes LC, 5-4. Check out the video for game highlights.

Baltimore Summer Kickoff (Session Two): 2015/2016 All-Star Game

The second session of the Baltimore Summer Kickoff took place Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23. On Saturday night, two All-Star games were played, comprised with some of the best players from the days action. Plenty of coaches were on hand to take in the action, which was stock-piled with impressive talent. The second All-Star game played was for members of the Classes of 2015/2016. Check out the video to take in the whole game.
