On November 19, 2016, lacrosse players will gather in Millersville, Maryland to showcase their skills at Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip Fall Lacrosse Camp. What was traditionally a recruiting camp, now doubles as a chance to unlock another opportunity to participate at the next level.
You’re also trying out for an invitation to Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip Lacrosse Summer Camp.
To attend Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip Lacrosse Fall Camp this autumn, players must submit a highlight reel. Each highlight reel will be personally reviewed by Nike Blue Chip Lacrosse Director, Jake Reed, for a fee of $100.
Eligibility is limited to graduating classes 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Not sure how to put your best foot forward?
Check out last year’s Q&A with Jake for a look into what makes a standout submission.
What do you look for when reviewing footage of potential players for your camp?
We look for a combination of athletic ability, lacrosse fundamentals and lacrosse IQ (how you play with and without the ball).
What has made Blue Chip so successful over the years?
Nike Blue Chip has been successful because we work hard at finding the best players from all over the country, which brings the top coaches to watch.
How have you seen the recruiting process change since you started Blue Chip?
When I first started in 2001, coaches were only recruiting rising seniors with a few exceptions. Then, they went to rising juniors. Now, they are recruiting rising sophomores.
