SportsRecruits.com, US Lacrosse’s Official Service Provider for Recruiting, launched Version Two of the company’s successful website last week. The site was rebuilt from scratch, tapping the latest technology to go along with the experience gained from working with over 8,000 players since 2008.
Over the coming days, we are going to take a more in depth look at some of the innovative new features high school players and college coaches enjoy.
Today, we examine how players can easily view interactions in one place.
New Feature
Users can now see all interactions they have had with their favorite schools in one place. Each time a school has viewed the player’s profile and video, as well as all of the communication with that specific school, can be found in one central location.
Why It Matters
As SportsRecruits.com members go through the recruiting process, the amount of data they have regarding the interactions with each school grows. Until now, this data did not live in one place. Now, SportsRecruits.com members have complete control of their recruiting process.
From Co-Founder Matt Wheeler:
“In building Version 2, we worked with a lot of past SportsRecruits.com members who have committed to play in college. One thing we heard often was how hard it was to keep different interactions they were having with different schools organized. With Version 2, a member can now click on a school and see every time there was any interaction with that school, including messages and profile views.
What It Means
Historically, the recruiting process has been inefficient and unorganized. This feature is just another example of SportsRecruits.com giving its members the tools they need to streamline the recruiting process.
How SportsRecruits.com Can Help
There are a number of ways SportsRecruits.com can assist its members. Aside from the quick access to college coaches every DI, DII and DIII coach is a registered user our staff can look at a members profile, transcripts and highlight reel to help guide the player in the recruiting process. Staffers are former collegiate lacrosse players who can help give a member an idea of the 20-30 schools to focus on.

SportsRecruits.com was started by two former Wesleyan lacrosse players and is staffed by former lacrosse players who played at every level – from Virginia to Monmouth to Wesleyan. Members deal with former college players when issues arise – players who have dealt with many of those same issues themselves.
The Fall is a great time to connect with your target list of programs after a crazy Summer. Call 212-414-8417 or email Ryan@SportsRecruits.com if you have questions about how to become a member.
